About Codeinum(Dilution)

Common Name: An Alkaloid of Opium.  

Codeinum Dilution is a homoeopathic remedy useful for involuntary twitching of eyes or muscles of arms or lower limbs. Itching or numbness can be treated with this medicine. The salt in the drug is an alkaloid of opium and is useful in treating coughs and other respiratory problems along with headaches or stomach pains. It helps in controlling diabetes as well.

Causes & Symptoms for Codeinum

• The characteristic symtpom for indication of Codeinum is Itching with warmth.
• Convulsive twitchings of muscles and limbs, and especially of orbital muscles indicates Codeinum.

Side effects of Codeinum 

There are no such side effects. But every medicine should be taken following the rules as given.

Dosage and rules while taking Codeinum

Take 5 drops in half cup of water three times a day.

You can also medicate the globules and take 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

Precautions while taking Codeinum

Always keep a gap of 15 minutes before or after meals when you take medicine.

If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a homeopathic practitioner before use.

Dose.--One-quarter of a grain doses to third trituration.
